'77 HD Gas AMF Color

I'm an old lady who recently bought a one-owner 1977 Harley-Davison AMF gas golf cart, Model D. It is 1970 Ford Pinto Green and it needs some touchup. Have read that the tag is supposed to tell me, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out. Serial # is 3B 14726 H7. Can someone help me out with the color, and please use little words, like you were speaking to your favorite Aunt or young Grandmother?

99% Harleys were white gel coat aka fiberglass white with a clear coat so the best way to find out the color code is to put in google “what is the color code for a green 1970 ford pinto” because if it looks like it is that color then it probably is that color because most people just painted them when the gel coat was damaged to save money or as a cheaper faster way to customize it but I wish you luck

The color that pertains to your serial number will not be the color how what the cart currently is. All Harley's had the same off white or light beige color from the factory. None were green or any other color for that matter. If your cart is green then someone painted it that way so your serial number won't be of much use.

There has to be an auto paint shop somewhere near you. If you can somehow get the cart there they can match the paint up for you.
