My battery pack positive lead will attach to the left side of the solenoid. Do I have the orientation of the diodes correct? I've got the Alltrax XCT 500 controller.

The "Regen Diode", the one between the big posts is wrong as shown.

The "Regen Diode" cathode (banded side) goes towards the battery cable.

The "Flyback Diode", the one between the small posts has the banded side towards the positive activation wire.

I am told I can use the keyswitch that came on the cart. How does one figure out which of the two posts to use, since it has 4? I am not going to be using a backup buzzer or the factory battery warning light, so from what I can tell just need to use the green and blue wire from the wiring harness. However, I don't know which goes to which post...
After some clean up of the back of the keyswitch, I was able to see it had markings, imagine that! So assuming that posts labeled 1 and 2 would have the same function as a key switch from an electric cart keyswitch, I wired accordingly. Green wire to post 1 and blue wire to post 2.

Took some time to trim up the 1/4" thick HDPE plastic on the swing arm, that I am using to block some water and a bit of a skid plate.

I also got another piece of 1/4" thick HDPE plastic and trimmed it up a bit and mounted it directly to the battery pack "tray". I have it pushed forward to within about a 1/2" of the frame going across. That should keep about 90% of any water and debris from getting up into the components.

There are some holes in the frame piece going across there. I will be getting some 1/8" thick HDPE plastic and cut it to fit over those holes to further mitigate water and debris ingress.

Actually it should be Green to #2 and Blue to #1 since the battery goes to #2 on a Gas cart.

Interesting... I'll get that switched around.

Thanks Sergio! You are a wealth of knowledge! I'll be revisiting some of your threads to get a better understanding of my wiring issues regarding the lithium, BMS and so on! I greatly appreciate your help!

Wonder if there are any other wiring issues like this I need to be aware of moving forward...
