Re: Workhorse Lift
Ez, your breaker goes between the battery (power source) and the switch (appliance).
The one I used is resettable, (if there is a fault, it will trip, delay, and re-set on it's own). |

Re: Workhorse Lift
Ok so let me run this down.
From battery positive & negative One goes to one side of breaker One goes to other side of breaker From there I run a wire from breaker again to switch post # 1 Also run wire to switch from breaker again to Post# 2 Then off of middle posts # 3 & 4 I run to the actuator.. The other 2 posts are just nothing or do I cross wire from Post # 1 & 2 Not sure if the above is right please let me know what you think ?? Thanks and appreciate the insight ... |

Re: Workhorse Lift
Yeah I seen those on your earlier posts but they are Greek
To me just not clearly understanding the layout There are 2 threaded studs on the breaker so if it only hooks Up to the positive side of the battery what does the other side do? |

Re: Workhorse Lift
It goes directly to ground (-) on the battery.

Re: Workhorse Lift
Ok so one is positive from battery and then on to switch from breaker
The other side just goes straight to ground |

Re: Workhorse Lift
Just an update.
I installed my Warner Actuator today and wired up as directed by your instructions Worked great! It is awesome hit a switch and up the bed goes.. I bought the Actuator from Grainger so had to spend a little more money on it than if off of eBay, but it was worth it. Total cost - around 350 bucks for everything: Actuator, switch, breaker, and wire... Thanks for the help! |
