These wires run straight to the battery pack, and I put a .250amp fuse on the positive cable to protect it.
Second picture is of the 2Five. Sorry but my picture of the 2Five isn't sideways. I don't know why it is here.
Clean install. Thanks for sharing!

I leave it on all the time. That way anytime I'm near the cart I know what the voltage is just by a quick glimpse.

I like that idea! I have a similar meter ordered and will be wiring it directly to the batteries as well.

The inline fuse is a good idea for the volt meter, I need to add one. I did run mine through a water resistant switch so I can turn it off.

Does anyone see any issues with leaving the meter on 24/7? I can’t imagine that it draws enough power to be an issue?. I’d prefer to have it on all the time so I can monitor the state of the battery pack, but want to make sure I’m not overlooking something that would mess things up.

It's fine to leave the meter on 24/7. The batteries self discharge at a rate much higher than the draw of any volt meter. Do use a fuse - right at the battery connection.

Thanks! That is a very good point. And I do like the idea of a fuse as well. Will definitely be adding one.

Jeff can you provide links for the meter, fuse and holder?

Fuse Holder
https://www.bluesea.com/products/506...DL_Fuse_Holder
On the fuse holder I put a 6"-8" pigtail with a ring terminal on so I could keep it away from the battery and also have some slack.

Voltage Meter
https://www.newark.com/murata-power-...I-RP-STM7REC-1
Everywhere I'm looking there out of these. If you find one buy it. I also put a 6"- 8" pigtail on the meter and put a quick disconnect on it. I do that so I can disconnect it if I'm wanting to remove the whole cup holder from the cart.

I believe these are the Fuses I bought
https://www.ebay.com/itm/16272791536...oAAOSwTO9Z86mg

I'm up north and my cart is in Florida so I can't take any pictures for you.

Funny, the voltage meter is available here in Germany ( more expensive for sure )
