Default Re: Western ID & Wiring Diagram Needed

Western or Lido golf carts were built on Ezgo Marathon or TXT chassis depending upon the year of manufacture. They utilized much of the Ezgo electronics like the pot box throttle for the marathon chassis model and the inductive throttle device (ITS) for the 1995 and up TXT based models.
They did add some extra features like electric hood release and blinkers.
Attached you will many of the western diagrams I have. Hopefully these help.

Red face Re: Western ID & Wiring Diagram Needed

Thank You for all the diagrams, pictures, and Links. I acquired a 2002 Western golf cart this past week. It had dead batteries. It has 7 6-volt batteries and I set out to replace the batteries. The cart ran great when done, but the lights, horn, gauge, and turn signals do not work. I freaked out and disconnected the 7th battery so as to not screw up the cart. I thought I might have connected the 7th battery wrong so I looked for a wiring diagram. Your information has led me to believe the fuse for the accessories might be blown. Do you know if running on 6 batteries will hurt it? Also, I purchased a 36/48 Smart Charger on Amazon. When using it do I disconnect the 7th battery? Thanks again for all the info.
