Charging batteries individually, do I need to take out of series?
If I want to charge just one battery at a time with a conventional charger do I need to disconnect it from the other batteries or can I just clamp to it's negative and positive? I have a 48v cart and am going to try to new 8v battery charger/conditioner I bought to see if it helps the batteries to extend their life. Thanks

No need to disconnect individual batteries, just clamp to the battery you plan to charge.

Connect them in parallel and you can charge them all at the same time.
