Yeah, that would also be an option. I do feel the dash mount would get even more annoying. I’ve got a few days to play around with ideas until I get the wrap on then I’ll decide on a position. Thanks for the idea. I really never though about moving it to the left, simple as heck lol

On my daily 2011 TXT48 the F&R rocker was in the dash. Like the old PDS of 2000-2010 you have to pull yourself up out of the seat to reach the middle of the dash and this becomes annoying, it's just not convenient. So relocating it was the first modification I made. In 2014 Ezgo moved the factory location to below the seat cushion center. And that's fine most of the time.
However, when I have the broadcast weed sprayer in the cargo box I operate a on/off toggle switch mounted on the passenger side rear roof support with my right hand and steer and shift with my left. During this annual activity I wish my F&R toggle was between my legs for left hand operation. I imagine it could be reached by either hand in that location....

Yes it is defiantly a pain to reach across my busy with my left arm. Even worse with a passenger we end of head butting most of the time. I’m for sure going to put it on the left side of the cart or maybe the steering column. Might try and find a used blinker control or somehow mount the toggle switch on the column/ steering wheel.

This bracket should be the right size to mount your existing FnR switch in.
Attach the bracket to the steering column either with a U bolt clamp, or with a stainless hose clamp.

That’s another interesting option! Thank you

I realize this is an old post but while I find the switch more convenient where it is stock from factory I wondered has anyone come up with a shift lever style arrangement that mounts infront of Seat and is more of a lever operation? If so love to see some options.

just a little bump here. seems I have spent so much time over the last 20 yrs on tractors that have a rocker F/r switch or separate pedals I am regularly trying to pull that off. muscle memory is hard to change for me I guess LOL.
