Default 2002 DS occasionally stops then clicks

My 2002 DS will sometimes not move, but has clicks. I have not identified a pattern; sometimes the first time run of a day, sometimes during the day after the first run, sometimes multiple times during the day (seems to becoming more frequent)

After searching through the forum, I have found pieces of my situation, but not a repeat of all my symptoms.

Code:
  1. Stock cart (added volt reducer in the last 2 weeks, problem happened before adding reducer)
  2. Replaced a bad battery a couple of months ago (problem happened before [yes, I am aware of pros/cons on replacing 1 battery out of a pack, just wanted it running before a series of upgrades])
  3. Full charge
  4. No battery warning lights
  5. Reverse buzzes (FNR rocker switch-type [IQ?])
  6. 1 click on "first half" of throttle; 2nd click on "second half" (throttle on the floor)
  7. Sometimes forward will move, but not every time (have not moved it far forward as it was in the garage, but it moved)
  8. It may have happened while moving, but mostly between stops
  9. Flipping run/tow switch from run to tow, wait a few seconds, then back to run has corrected incidents 100% of the time so far
I have found threads on testing:

Code:
  1. Solenoid
  2. MCOR
  3. Controller
Since the problem is erratic, it is not always easy to diagnose on the spot. I suppose I could be prepared to "jump" the solenoid on the spot. Not sure about any other "roadside" diagnosing.

Any suggestions on likely parts that are on their last leg and about to stop working for good?

Any other diagnosing scenarios?

Thanks.

Make sure the MS in the MCOR is not faulty. Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR (under the floor and connected to a linkage from the pedal) and jump out the connector with a paper clip or a small piece of wire. It will be a blue wire and green wire connector. If it runs with the jumper in place, your MCOR has failed. Get one here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

Thanks Nole. I'll have to look at this later. Now I need to work on some front suspension damage. 13 year olds like buggy-down during this time of "self quarantine", but some times things get out of hand. Separate post coming soon.
