Default What is the best cheap 36v charger?

Has anyone had the cheap chargers from eBay or amazon? Mine just went it and looking for something cheap right now.

Stay away from those, they are low amperage units that will cost you more in the long run as they shorten the useful life of your batteries. What charger do you have now? Most CC chargers can be fixed for less than $30 in parts.

Have a Lester and the timer is broke.

Ok, the old timer chargers are now very much obsolete. My advice would be to keep your eyes open for a good used Lester automatic charger. Many people on here list them in the for sale section after they upgrade to a Summit/DPI.

Like mentioned above, “best“ and “cheap“ don’t really go together. That being said, I have sold a few carts with these:

They seem OK. Stay away from the 5 amp ones.
