Default Sorry just looking for reassurance just changed batteries out in my 1997 club car ds

36 volt system. I took a picture of the old set and how they were in the cart but I assumed red and black means positive and negative. It didn’t :( so I hooked it up the best i could from the pictures I had and could make out. I guess my question is since it worked and it’s charging right now is all good? The battery charger read around 25 amperes and after about 30 min it’s down to 12 amperes. If someone wouldn’t mind taking at look at the pics or if y’all would know anything to ease my mind I would Sure appreciate it!

It appears to me that the two batteries closest to the front of the cart (left and right) need to be flipped around 180*

Yep, if you look at the labels of your new batteries, they are opposite one another on the outer sets of batteries. They should be facing the same way, like your old batteries were.

I just checked it again jake turns out one of the batteries I think the front left one the sticker is flipped I even had my wife Triple Checking then with me and we think they are correct. Once again I was told by a friend that it wouldn’t even go if they weren’t hooked up right. Do you agree?

Ok, the battery manufacturer must've just flipped the labels around.

Yes, as long as they are wired in series and you have 36v on the main connections and at the charge port, you're good to go.
