2009 precedent won’t move
Everything was working fine. Went to install a carts unlimited battery meter using the black/yellow and the red wire behind the dash. Pre tested and got 48volt hooked up meter and flipped row/run switch heard something pop. Now i am only getting 36.7 volts from those wires (meter is fine) and the cart won’t move. Solenoid only clicks after I unhook battery pack and discharge it. Back up alarm still works. Pack voltage is 50.7 volts. Please help!

Re: 2009 precedent won’t move
That pop was one of your fuses. Look up under it at the access panel and check them all.

Re: 2009 precedent won’t move
I only found 2 fuses. A blade style and a glass and they are both fine. Is there another one I am missing?

Re: 2009 precedent won’t move
I am not getting full voltage at testing points. I only get 38-39 volts when I test connectors but the pack voltage it 50 volts. Is the OBC bad or the controller?

Re: 2009 precedent won’t move
In order for the controller to make the solenoid click, it has to receive certain signals from the rest of the car. It has to have power to the following pins, which you can check with a multimeter. Put the negative lead of the multi meter on the battery pack negative and check all of these locations and tell me what you get. Some of these pins get their power from the same circuit, but by testing this circuit at different locations it will help me to pinpoint a possible wire harness failure. Post results here then we'll proceed until we find your exact issue.
On the 16 pin controller connector... 1. Tan (Pin 10) - 48V+ with Key switch ON 2. Grey (Pin 9) - 48V+ with TOW/RUN Switch in RUN 3. Blue (Pin - 48V+ with F&R switch in REVERSE OR Brown (Pin 16) - 48V+ with F&R switch in FORWARD 4. Green (Pin 6) - 48V+ with Key ON, F&R Switch in either position, and accelerator pedal depressed) On the F&R switch... 5. Check for power at the orange wire that feeds power to the F&R rocker switch. |

Is this test conducted with the 16 pin connector still connected to the controller (backstabbing) or disconnected? |

Re: 2009 precedent won’t move
Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR (under the floor and connected by the pedal) and jump out the connector with a paper clip or a small piece of wire. It will be a blue wire and green wire connector. If it runs with the jumper in place, your MCOR has failed. Get one here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors
