Default No Voltage on Motor after upgrades

Hello!

New to the forum but been searching on it for about a year now.

2010 CC Precedent I2 Excel (PH serial)

Just finished upgrading with Alltrax XCT 500 controller, FSIP High Speed Motor, HD solenoid, and 2 gauge cables. Before replacing these parts, cart was working perfectly with stock set up. Now, no movement.

Battery pack at 50.0V.
Cart is in run mode.
Reverse buzzer working.
Alltrax status is ready to go green.
No voltage or amps on motor when monitoring with laptop.
Solenoid not clicking.

Photo attached showing throttle engaged but nothing else happening.

Any suggestions as to what to check are appreciated!

i don't know anything about that controller, but it can't run until you get the solenoid to activate.

Do you have the diode across the 2 posts of the solenoid with the band closest to the light blue wire?

Yes I do.

David @ Revolution Golf Cars (where upgrades were purchased) was quick to respond to my email. Turns out, it was a simple software setting.
It was my first look at this software so didn’t have a clue what I was looking at (yet!).

Here was the solution for anyone’s future reference...
Tools Menu >
Click box to allow charge interlock settings >
Bottom of controller settings page >
Change charge interlock to opposite of what currently at >
Click SET (left hand side).

Cart backed out of the garage no problem. Went to a straight flat road and got it up to 31mph no problem.

New issue that I’ve already emailed David about, plugged it in after my exciting joy ride and charger is not kicking on.

Here is the email I sent him...

“Assuming something related to the OBC.

Replaced -battery pack wire with 2 gauge wire and connected to - battery terminal to B- on the controller. Running it through the OBC.
Reattached multi colored square wiring harness coming out of OBC.
Reattached black single square wire.
Reattached circle covered connector.”

Pleasantly surprised that the steering felt as solid as it did.
23” x 10.5” tires so assuming the extra width helping a bit.

Wanted to post the final outcome for posterity.

Coincidental but the OBC failed before or at the same time as the upgrades were being done. It was only a few days from charging before the upgrades and trying to charge after them but things seem to fail at inconvenient times.

With that being said, decided to ditch the antiquated OBC and go with an on-board mounted Lester Summit Series II Charger. Got the 650w Model 30600 with battery terminal connections for on board mounting. Have to say, couldn’t be happier.

It’s currently temporarily “installed” in the back bag well under the back seat, but in the next week or so will build a shelf so it can live happily in the empty void above the motor. Ref post: https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=124836
