2001 club car 48v ONly goes forward in both reverse and forward
I checked the switch its working it switches back n forth no power to the opposite wire but it still goes forward ?? this cart is killing me lol. Just got the controller back from Caps service. the motor ohms out good new brushes in motor. Tried 2 different solenoids. I either have a short in the wiring harness or the controller took the **** again. any help is appreciated. Checking wiring harness now..

UPDATE: wires look good Im getting the correct voltage at the #8 and #16 pins whenthe switch is activated BUT both S-1 and S-2 on controller have voltage 49v to S-2 and 46v to S1 when the F/R switch is in Either position Im guessing the controller **** the bed again. anyone agree??

Yes, you controller handles the switching and has a failed FET.

You might have shorted the terminals accidentally or happened to mine, you might be able to switch your field wires and get forward. It happened to me and new controller fixed it

The wires inside the motor Were shorted the coil to the brushes. Another $100 to get the controller fixed oh well.
