Thanks for the diagram. It makes sense now. As Sergio said a 48 to12 reducer is a cleaner set up. I'll probably do that mod a little later.

I have backup lights on my Precedent but I use the reverse buzzer activation signal to trigger a 48v relay that completes the 12v connection to the lights.
Our CC DS is a Pathway.
I like the Reverse Buzzer activation signal for the backup light - hadn't thought of that.
I already have space saved in a 12v box for a relay for the backup light, just hadn't figured out how to trigger it.
It is currently wired into the FNR switch somehow, haven't dug into the wiring to figure it out.

Sorry, did not notice on your signature it was a Pathaway, the diagram below should help you as that cart harness has the additional light circuits:

Pay particular attention on how there is an non-fused 16v connection to one of the poles of the FNR switch and +48v on the other pole.

Thank you very much, that's the wiring diagram I have been looking for.
My cart is wired just like that, except I have no speedometer or license light.
From that drawing it looks like the FNR switch is not a standard one, it has an additional contact for the backup light.
Is that FNR switch obsolete?

I think most of the FNR rocker switches are DPDT, I believe the ones ScottyB sells with his Reversing Contactor kits are the same type so he may sell them otherwise there are other vendor sponsors that have them.
