Re: Yamaha Drive with Lithium Nissan leaf batteries
I might have to look into a Yammy!
Question for you SC, have you noticed that the more you use your Leaf Batteries, the more run time you get? When I first installed mine (5 modules, 60AH), My cart struggled to get through 18 holes. Now, after about 5 months of use, I easily can get 27 holes and still make it home (about 2 miles from the course). |

I can't say that I have noticed increased range or run time. I don't ride it near as far as you do. I just cruise the neighborhood for now.

Re: Yamaha Drive with Lithium Nissan leaf batteries
Ordered a D&D motor yesterday (new years eve!). Opted for high torque and selected model ES-63-49 which is rated for 40% more torque then stock motor at 36v. It is a long case motor, I think I can fit it in cart with minor adjustments.
D&D said it will ship Monday. |

Re: Yamaha Drive with Lithium Nissan leaf batteries
I said I'd never get rid of my evgo I got it with 8" lift 24" tires and an 18.5hp opposed twin. Then I fell head over heels for a little black yamaha. Long story short the G2 has the 24" tires and I sold off the ezgo years ago. Its easy to fall for the right yamaha.

Re: Yamaha Drive with Lithium Nissan leaf batteries
Hey can you take another picture of the batteries from a different angle. I cannot get oriented where they are at. Would like a point of reference.
