Fender flares for an old 92 ?
Not many choices out there for me so if anyone can point me in the right direction before I pull this thing apart and take it to Line-X I would be much appreciative.

Found these (amongst other eBay items): http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...s#product_tabs, but I'd like to see examples of what others look like.

Re: Fender flares for an old 92 ?
Does your cart have a fiberglass main body or a plastic main body? If it's a fiberglass body, it has separate rubber fender flares. If it's a plastic body, the flares are molded into the body. If it's a fiberglass body with the separate stock flares, those flares in your link won't work.
As I understand it, they didn't start using the plastic bodies until 1993 (1981-1992 were fiberglass), but 1992 may have been a crossover year where they may have used both. |

I may have an odd duck - looks like I have a plastic front and fiberglass rear. Lol.

I think the front nose pieces were always plastic. It was only the rear main body that was fiberglass early on.

Re: Fender flares for an old 92 ?
Since you have the fiberglass body, there are no pre-fabbed fender flares available for you to buy. You best option is to get a roll of fender flare material and make your own custom flares.
Check out the thread below, this member had an '88 cart with the fiberglass body but then found out the flares he ordered would not fit...but he had already installed one of the front flares before he found out! But he got a roll of rubber fender flaring and it came out pretty nice: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...ys-cart-2.html |

I really like the rubber flares but my newer style body I don't think they would lay right on the rear. Anyone use these on the newer body?

Great info - thanks for saving me the headache of ordering the wrong flares.

Re: Fender flares for an old 92 ?
I'm searching for the thread where someone installed the 2 1/2 Pacer flares on the rear and the 4 1/4 undermounts on the front. If anyone knows which thread I'm looking for please let me know.
I got the body back from Line-X and starting to put it all back together. |

I installed 4.25" on all four wheel wells. Check my build thread towards the end.
