Default lift problem?

I just put a 5'' lift on my 99 ezgo gas cart. Now the airbox rubs on the side of the gas tank for some reason. has anybody else had this occur if so any fix?

Mine is real close but not touching. You have a small amount of room where you could put a couple washers between the tank and where it mounts to the top two bolts pushing it away. If that would give you enough room.

It was an allsports 5'' drop axle i took it off didnt like it. The cart is a 96 freedom with the hi speed gears. I had my doubts when i did it and i was right it didnt pull the hills like i wanted it to i felt it was lugging it alot.
