What motor do you have?I have some easy mods for the 2pg clutches, cost you less than $5,and it will feel like a different cart.

Remove the cover on the Drive-Clutch,(can be done in the cart, might have to loosen the engine-mounts a bit,but belt can stay on),Add 3/16"-1/4" shim under the spring, against the clutch(not the cover).Next, remove the Driven-Clutch.Separate and remove shim between the sheaves.Next, add 3/16"-1/4" shim under the spring and reassemble.I did this on my cart 2 yrs.ago, with 22" tires,Huge difference over stock. If you have stock tires you can skip the shim-removal on the Driven if you want, this lowers first gear.Shimming it delays upshift to high.A few weeks ago i swapped out the belt for a shorter one,No difference, actually feels like it slips taking off.Hope this helps.

I agree with Steveb, the front tire is NOT a good cup holder!!

The tires look GREAT!! I just ordered some 22x11-8 and a 4" block lift, CANT WAIT TO GET THEM! Keep up the work on the cart!!

pachanga90, does that Mod work on the 3pg clutch too?

Jon

by shim, do you just mean a nice sized washer? anything that'll compress the spring against the clutch a bit more?

[QUOTE=M.Gilbert3;509120]I'de been waiting and waiting for it to warm up so i could put my lift in. Finally just decided to do it in the snow.

I made my own drop axle, cut the spindles off and welded them to a 1/2in thick piece of steel. I just used spring spacers for the back and bought some new napa shocks, i don't like the look with the shock extenders.

I have the front half of the block poor mans lift left but idno if i want to lift the front more and cock it off.

Enjoy the pics.

And I won't work on my cart here in south Texas when it gets below 50 degrees. Hope you didn't get too cold.
