Re: 1996 G14 yamaha gas
pull the plate from on top of the carb when you push the pedal does the throttle open? try taking the air hose off and seeing if it will run that way.

Re: 1996 G14 yamaha gas
plug looks ok, but i will replace it anyway. Pulled the carb plate and it looks as if the throttle is opening. It just seems like it isnt getting fuel

Re: 1996 G14 yamaha gas
it still does not seem to want to run, where is the fuel pump? is there a valve switch somewhere on the fuel line?

The fuel pump is a square looking deal. They are like 50 bucks on ebay. But I'm not sure you need one. This sounds crazy but try blowing in the gas tank as hard as you can. Make a seal with your mouth and blow and watch the fuel move thru the filters. If you can't see it your either not blowing hard enough or your filters are backwards/clogged.

Re: 1996 G14 yamaha gas
where are the 2 filters? i have found one that is in the line from the tank to the sqaure looking thing (fuel pump i assume).
the fuel pump is the square housing where the fuel line from the tank goes, and then 2 lines come out of |
