Well that was quick and embarrassing... lesson learned though, don't let "lots of spark" fool you. When I pulled the plug and it was wet, so its getting gas. I decided to clean the plug with my plug cleaner and put it back in and see if it fires...bingo took right off. Took it for a quick spin around the property and all seems good, maybe a mixture screw adjustment...and now I see the previous post, it needs some oil in the gas tank (it is still oil injected) and new spark plug.
When I pulled the reed valves there was no signs of excessive fuel in the crankcase so I was pretty sure the pump was good. Thanks for your feed back. Hope my embarrassment helps others. |
