Club Car not charging after cleaning batteries

Hello,

I have a 1996 Club Car DS Electric golf car.
I washed off the corrosion on the battery terminals a couple of days ago.
After getting that area wet, I heard a buzzer sound come on, that sounded similar to the reverse buzzer, but it seemed that the sound was coming from around the key on/off area?
The buzzer continued to buzz and later the cart was dead when I returned.
The next day, I plugged into charger for a while, then it ran again, but really slow and weak.
Now, when I connect the 4 Power Drive charger, it only reads around 2 DC Amps and after many hours, I checked it and it is turned off, but the cart barely runs, only about 1 mile per hour, when I attempt to drive and it is really weak and barely moves.
When I reconnect it to the charger, it reads around 8 DC amps real quick, then goes down to 2 DC amps and stays there.
Maybe that buzzer sound stayed on until the batteries drained to zero?
At the moment, I do not have any volt meters or any other way to test anything.
I have learned my lesson, not to get that area wet, ever again.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure that the problem is that the batteries were drained all the way down to nothing.
I have been charging for a few hours now and it still reads 2 - 3 DC amps on the Club Car Power Drive charger display.
When I disconnect the charger and try and drive, it still moves at a snails pace and the battery light is on, then I reconnect and it goes back to 2 -3 DC amps.
I believe that before, it would always show around 10 - 12 DC amps, when I plugged-in after regular use, then when charged it would cut off.
Now it is charging for hours, then cutting off, but not charging correctly.
Do I need to reset the OBC or anything else or just try and keep charging?

Tell us what your pack voltage is. Whats the condition of you high current cables?

batteries and cables in clean, great condition.

The reverse buzzer is located in the dash by the key switch.

You got water in the reverse micro-switch and it was completing the signal.

That was not a big deal, but leaving it buzzing was not a good idea, You should have disconnected the pack.

First thing to do is to quit driving before you permanently damage the batteries.

Go ahead and reset the OBC.

All You need to do is disconnect the pack negative for 10 minutes.

Then plug the charger again and see if it does a regular charge cycle.

Wait until is finished before trying to drive the cart.

If that fails, You will need to take individual readings of each battery or a specific gravity check of each cell.
