Default 2003 TXT rebuild

New to the forums, i have been jumping in and out reading old posts from you guys as i built my cart...so thank you for that! I have owned my cart for give or take 6 years, it used to be in perfect shape but over the years it has seen a drunken round of golf or two....maybe three! So since I moved and can't take my cart on any courses around me without being a member I decided to strip it down and rebuild. Now when you see the pictures YES it looks like its in great shape already....but pictures are pictures....she needed some TLC. So here we go, and I will have some questions for you guys later on.

I mounted a solar pannel to the top, see if it helps with the power issue...thing has been eating batteries lately...its time for new batteries i suppose. I have been reading up on Trojan batteries, sounds like the real deal..anyone else stand by them or recommend another brand?

I'm very suspect of this "round count." I wonder how you do on your score card? And on your golf card as well?

Its tough, but once I find how many beers it takes to get to my give a ****, then drink a few more past that...the round gets better! as far as the "score card" if I'm at this point in the game...that number is usually 0.

That's my kinda golf......and I was at one time a helluva golfer. 4 years varsity, asked to play for college, won not one but two of those big *** closest to the pin contests where the prize is a million (mind you won closest, I didn't ace and get the cash......and the prizes are generally crap, like a free foursome at some nice course) I found booze made tournaments far more entertaining.

I sell and repair carts everyday. I used Trojan for a while, but got tired of the high prices and crappy warranty.....not to mention I have seen more Trojans with melted or blown out posts than any other. I tried several different manufacturer's but in the end went with US Battery for the quality, warranty and lifespan. They are just as good if not better than Trojan in my opinion. And I'm quite interested to hear about your solar setup. I sell battery cables online and I have custom made a few sets that went to Mexico and Texas to guys that have Solar charging setups. They've all been wildly successful and I'm always keen to hear about other success stories.
