Need advice on what model cart to buy.
I am looking at golf carts and there are so many differences that my head is spinning. Buying a used golf cart is worse than buying a used car. I can not figure out what is a good model or a good price.
I know that we want a gas cart. I would like it to go fast and be able to use it to cruise my 4.6 acres and to also haul stuff for working in the garden and cutting down trees. It has to be a 4 seater because we want to take the grand kids for rides of course. And we might trailer it to campgrounds for use while we are camping. Please help with good models and price ranges. Thanks! |

Re: Need advice on what model cart to buy.
I have always been an EZGo guy for the most part. Not because I think they are better than the other two but I have better availability for parts. You can look for a TXT or an RXV that a rear flip seat can be installed on. Older model TXTs came with either a 295 or 350 Robbins and the newer models have a 400 Kawasaki. All the RXVs will have the Kawasaki motors but check to make sure it has a team clutch as the originals had problems. Lift kits are available for both but I hear the RXV can get unstable if lifted too far. Price wise, it all depends on your market..
