Default Short serial numbers on Club Car

Hello all,

Just a short question about a 36v Club Car that I bought a few days ago. The cart has a tag under the passenger side dash that says 81375, that’s all it has, no letters or anything. I assume it’s an 1981 model but not real sure. I want to install a lift on this cart but it’s hard to find a kit for an 81, all kits I see are for ether 82 or 84 on up, what is the difference? It is a DS model.

Thanks

Can you post some pics of the cart, the interior, and the battery compartment?
