2 stroke to 4 stroke swap?

I have a 1993 Marathon with a 4 stroke in it with a bad body. I also have a 1991 Medalist with a good body but the motor doesnt run. Does anyone know if these motors can be swapped. I would like to put the 4 stroke motor into the 1991 medalist. If this can be done without alot of modifaction I would like to know or if anyone has done done this do they have any tips for me.

You need to swap rear ends and all, the 2 stroke rear doesn't have reverse

Jon could he just swap the whole rear swing arm and all.

There was no Medalist in 1991, or in 1993...

Yes they can you have to swap the hole swing arm engine and axle
it should a direct bolt in swap!!! Good luck

If your YEAR's are correct in your post, yes, as they would both be Marathon carts, thus an engine / rear end swap would work. If this is right, a body swap would be quicker!

If the MODEL's are correct in your post, then they will not, as a Marathon frame is different than a Medalist frame.

Something in your description is wromg...

My years are correct on the carts I was told by someone that the 91 was a medalist.

no they both are marathons.. medalist didnt start till 94.5

The marathons ended in 94, they were still available after that on special order. They began in 76. the marathons are like a base model, They had included in that line were Spirit, Liberty, Fleet, Freedom
The medalist/TXT started in 94, it includes the Fleet and the Freedom variations
