![]() Repowering a 1988 club car with a gx390 , unsure on the governors i know there is one in the engine, was going to leave alone. the one on the rearend do i hook this up or bypass it. thanks.

![]() Just bypass the one in the rear. Mine is an ezgo and I just took the arm off and let the shaft there.

![]() I think most just use a spring. If you think about it, the mechanicals inside the differential are still working and moving the arm, it's just not connected to the throttle cable anymore. May not matter, but with a spring you won't bind anything in the diff, or break the tie.....
