Default erratic idle

Hey guys...newbie here.I have had an ez go for quite some time now and have had no problems up until now.The idle speed has risen by itself and makes the machine shift roughly into gear because of it.I looked to see for adjustments but to no avail.Does anyone out there have this problem?I have contacted the dealer but I get no good answers. Thanks in advance.

Typically when idle speed just changes by itself it is often a vaccum leak. Check hoses and gaskets. Is this a two stroke or four stroke? If two stroke sometimes crank seals do weird things to idle when they go out.

These carts aren't designed to idle unless a turn key ignition is installed and then the only thing keepin it movin is 12 volt power from the starter, so it's not actually idleing. Not in the sense like a automobile would. Also, I don't know of any vacuum lines on the 4 stroke robins engine.
