Default My EZ won't get up and GO

Howdy folks... Finally finished my 90 Marathon (cosmetics anyway). Now its on to replacing the 2 cycle. I've been seriously considering the 18HP Vanguard. I doubt anyone makes a drop in kit. So, i figure i've got my work cut out for me. I set out on this project with a budget of $1500 for cosmetic repairs and upgrades. And, $1500 for engine and performace upgrades. I came in $300 under cosmetics budget! Now i have $1800 to make it move!! Anyone out there have any tips or advise? Is it worth the headache? Will i even come close to budget?

Welcome to BGW!!

You will also need to upgrade the rear end if you want to have reverse. The 2 stroke you have now runs backwards for reverse. You need a transaxle.

LMAO! Sounds like something I'd do.....
Well, start by posting a wanted ad here in the parts section. And try your local GC shops, and craigslist. Good Luck.

I have a 2006 Robin 295cc engine EZGO TXT Engine with just under 80 hours on it that I can sell you. I just upgraded my engine to a 18HP Vanguard, so I won't be needing it anymore. I can also provide:
- starter/generator,
- motor mount (don't know if this will work on your chasis),
- solenoid,
- voltage regulator,
- keyswitch assembly,
- intake and exhaust

All parts are stock, non modified, and all have less than 80 hours on them.

PM me if you are interested in this. Hopefully I am not stepping on any of the sponsor's/admin toes by posting this . If so, sorry in advance.
