86 ezgo driven clutch spring question and help
Hello I got a 86 ezgo motor is rebuilt and has new drive clutch I noticed that I can squeeze the belt and the driven clutch will open up so I know my spring is weak I took the clutch off the rear end. First question is do i need to push down on the top part to get a lock ring off or how does it come off? Second question I wanted to know if the spring I seen on ebay for 43.00 is for a 89 2 stroke cart will work in my clucth I heard it would be I just want to be sure or if someone could tell me how to shim mine or make it better. Thanks james
