Default 1989 Marathon governor

I am a nubie to the forum and to cart rebuilds. When working on my governor on the transmission the shaft dropped down and i am not sure where it needs to be placed back in the proper location. I have a breakdown of the rear axle but it's not detailed enough to see exactly what parts go on either side of the governor shaft. It looks like there is a roller bearing and a couple of small roller plates. thanks for anyone who can help me!
