The oil injector was an option. It did not come standard. Most everybody removes them because they are known to fail. My 87 did not come from the factory with oil injection.

Plug your banjo hole with a 6mm screw.
do you know how many gallons of gas the tank holds?

Okay, I'm 99% sure it's a 5 gal tank. Are you sure that running a gas oil mix will not mess up the fuel filter and/or the jets on the carb?

Positive.

Everybody does it, including the manufacturer.


Mix your oil, and gas in a 1 gallon container, and fill your tank. Don't guess.

Okay I've sealed off the oil intake. I'm going to be dropping the engine back in her tomorrow morning. I just completed and entire rebuild of the engine myself. Man I hope it fires up. lol I won't be posting here over the weekend so I'll let you guys know on Monday. Wish me luck!

Just south of Youngstown. I did just realize that when I installed the piston I forgot to put the two washers on each sided of the needle bearing. Am I really going to have to take the head back off?

I'm on the Mahoning Columbiana border.

I think you will have to lift the cylinder off to reach the wrist pin.
