new club car precedent owner!!
Hi everyone. I just picked up a 2013 Club Car Precedent Gas cart. I had a limited time to go over everything and drove it about 3/4 of a mile.
With that said, what exactly should I be looking for that is the worst pain point for maintenance, etc. Also how do I find out what size engine it has in it? I do have the serial number. is there a way that I can look that information up with it? It does have a small lift and bigger tires and wheels. Seats 4. I want to make sure that things are good and safe for the family!! I do plan on a few upgrades but they are minor. Steering wheel Light bar Maybe a "street kit" for safety. Any and all comments are welcome!! Stephen Last edited by stephendudra; 10-10-2018 at 03:00 PM.. Reason: additional question |

Re: new club car precedent owner!!
Your Precedent should have the Kawasaki FE350 engine, There is a bar code tag on the engine shroud that will tell you.

Re: new club car precedent owner!!
Kawasaki 350 is a good motor. Not much in the way of maintenance other than spark plug and oil change. Otherwise a good, strong reliable motor.
Check clutches for wear or being "dished out". S/G belt and drive belt for wear, and rear end/transmission oil. Check the Starter/Generator brushes for wear (plenty of how-to's on here). Aside from that, not really much to it. Valves are HLA so there's no valve adjustment to worry about. |

Thanks everyone! I will hopefully get some time this weekend to give it a good once over and validate everything. :-)
