Mixing Series and Parallel Batteries?
I currently have 6x 8v batteries, and everything I know about electricity circuits tells me I should be able to get more capacity by adding 2 additional 8v batteries. But I wanted to check with anyone who has done this before to see if they had any problems I have not thought about?
This is what I had in mind - granted its a crude drawing to just make out the circuit. (See uploaded pic) |

Re: Mixing Series and Parallel Batteries?
NO you CANNOT do this! The batteries that are not paralleled will run down first and they will be destroyed!
