2001 Club cart fuel issues
First cart was hesitating to start at each golf stop. Would eventually start but simply would no longer start. That was 4 weeks ago.
Have since pumped out existing gas from tank replacing with new gas, cleaned the carb, replaced fuel pump, replaced fuel lines, replaced fuel filters, replaced sparkplug, reset valves, will crank but no start. Tried to remove tube from tank vent assembly and in the process broke off the nipple (hole is still functional minus the tube). Ignition coil was replaced two years ago. Have new micro switches but not installed as the problem appears to be fuel from tank to carb. The tube leading from crankcase to fuel pump blows out instead of sucking?? Now at my wits end Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Re: 2001 Club cart fuel issues
I would check for spark, it should be white to blue-ish white. If you have a compression tester, test compression too. The tube from the crankcase to fuel pump is supposed to pulse; it's this pulsing action on the pump diaphragm that pumps the fuel. Is fuel being pumped to the carb?

I have a similar problem and suspect the fuel pump. Where can parts like that be bought?
