Default 2006 ez go just delivered last night!

Just got my 06 txt delivered last night, I didn't have much time to mess with it, but I wanted to change the oil when I get home from work today. Could someone tell me the best kind and type engine oil and how many quarts it takes so I can grab some on the way home? I think the engine said it was a 295 or something. Thanks.

Good for you!!! At least on mine, ( 02 with a brand new engine) I run Mobil 1
Actually seems to run quieter. I use M1 in all my small engine toys.
Per the manual, slightly less then 1 1/2 qts oil. Add till you hit almost the full mark on the dipstick.

If you put in too much, the engine will blow excess into the aircleaner, soaking the airfilter and make a real mess. Don't ask how I know, stupid dealer!!!!!!!!!!

Heres a couple pics I took after I got home from work today. Just finished pulling all the golf bag straps and stuff off the back. Just not sure what to do about the 2 bars sticking out behind the seat.

I would measure exactly 1.5 quarts and no more. If you get a back seat then you will end up replacing those bag arms anyway. Or you could get creative with a sawzall. LOL

I cut mine off with sawsall, then filled in the tubes with the welder, ground it all smooth and painted. Nice looking cart ya got there!
