1999 Gas Club Cart FE290
Hi All
I just purchased this car with the engine all apart. I was told that it was running but smoking like crazy and was told the cylinder is worn out. My question is, what is the cylinder tolerance (stock) what is max.? The cylinder looks perfect without a mark on it, nice and smooth and clean. Were there any problems with valve seal.? I'm thinking it may not be a cylinder/piston/ring issue.? If it is, maybe just the rings.? Any thoughts would help.... thanks |

Max cylinder bore is 50 over. Dont know the actual measurement of stock though.

Yay! I got one right! :D Not bad for a career computer programmer that doesn't know a box-end from a crescent wrench!

I believe that 50 over is metric not .050.
