Skipping club car
I have a 2004 club car with the kawasaki engine. It starts and idles fine but when I get to riding it has a skip to it. If I try to run it wide open it will skip some and then blow a cloud of smoke out and after that it runs fine other than the skip. It never smokes unless I mash it wide open but always skips. Any ideas?

Re: Skipping club car
My Dad did one a while back, that the valve-seat had come loose. It damaged the valve a little(it was fixable on the valve-grinder),and the seat-bore was staked to lock the seat in.Run a compression-check,that will tell you if its' something like that.Hope this helps.

Re: Skipping club car
My 07 did that! I later found out I overfilled the engine with oil!
I drained some of the oil to the proper level and it hasn't done it since! |
