6 inch lift in a 1997 carry all 2
I have a 1997 club car carry all 2. I ordered tires wheels and a 6 inch lift kit from Rocky Top Carts. I believe this may be a Jake's kit. Anyway the front end went well but the back is not going to work as ordered. I think I will have to move the whole engine back about one inch because when the axle swings down, it will get shorter because of the arc. When I install the leaf spring the center point is about one inch toward the back.
I also have a sway arm that is in the way and will have to figure out a new way of mounting it. The foward and reverse cable will also have to be rerouted. Has anyone been here before? Anyone have any advice? Hope So. Grovers |
