Has anyone tried
a different switch in place of the pulsar switch? Or has anyone tried a newer MCI type on the 92-94 4 stroke Robbins? I was on this spot ricky stator. com and they had tons of pick up coils that looked like the pics of what I need for my cart. I have not pulled the motor out yet to get the pulsar switch off but the pics look amazingly similar. Has anyone tried a different type of ignition box other than the $160 ignitor? I may have to bite the bullet on this old 4 seater and spend the coin but it is just a spare and Bla bla bla. It isn't worth much more than what it is gonna take to get it running again. Jim

I think it was something to do with the timing being off with the newer switch? anyone know more to expound on that? Might it be close enough to slot out the holes to get it close to use? No I don't really squeak when I walk. Jim
