How Do I Remove the Riveted Governor Cover?!?
I plan on adjusting the governor on my ST Sport II by adding a 1/2 inch of rubber hose in between the spring washer and nut. In order to install it I need to remove the riveted cover. How do I remove the riverbed cover and once it's off can I leave it off?
Your help is greatly appreciated. |

Use a drill and drill out the rivets. And yes you can leave it off.

Rivet removed with 3/8" bit and governor adjusted. Thanks for your help.
