1987 EZ GO marathon 2 cycle
I just bought a 1987 Marathon GX444 2cycle gas golf cart for a hundred bucks.
First, is 100 lbs compression acceptable? If not, would anyone know the rough cost to do the top end rebuild? |

It will still run. My 87 runs great with 100 psi

MAN! THAT is GREAT news. Thanks so much, I have totally redone the cart and it looks great. Cant get it to fire yet but the compression question was going to be a huge hurdle for me. Thanks again!

Fuel pump diaphragm, and crankshaft seals are usually the most common problems.
