91 club car exhaust flange help questions
I've been rebuilding this club car for a bit now getting close.. I bought a new down pipe and muffler so I pulled the old rusted one off and it took some work to get them out, well one came completely out and the other is stuck in there and can't get it to move. 2 questions one anyone know a good way to get that bolt out of the motor. 2nd where the heck do I buy new ones,went to fastenal again and the lady there was more concerned with her phone and sitting in the chair then helping anyone..

One more question where the down pipe connects to the motor do I need to put a gasket there?

Ok got the bolt at fastenal it's a m8-1.25 order the bolt extractor off Amazon. Guess I'm going to try a gasket there but there wasn't one on it or it was completely gone when I got the cart

I know for sure there is an exhaust gasket there. You can get them online cheap.

Might be able to put a pair of vice grips on it and some spray lube. If you try to wiggle it back and forth repeatedly it should start to move. Just keep wiggling back and forth but not hard enough to twist it off.

Sweet I got a few gaskets already just wasn't sure cause there wasn't one on there when I pulled the old one.
I'll give the vise grips a try that sucker is in there! Lol Thanks for the advise! |

Vise grips no go but a bolt extractor worked!

You can get the gasket at any JD dealer. Gators use the same engine.
