Fits non-lifted Club Car DS models gas & electric 1982-Up
Kit includes:

2 4-Leaf Rear Springs
4 U-Bolts
12 Rear Leaf Spring Bushings
6 Leaf Spring Bushing Spacers

Note: These kits are designed for non-lifted golf carts.
For LIFTED Carts you will need to use "Grade-8" Straight Bolts in place of the U-Bolts, due to the U-Bolts are not long enough for the extra leafs in the springs
read it for your self >>> http://www.jakesliftkits.com/product.asp?sku=29991

they (jakes) uses a shock mounting plate over the springs

Again if you're not using ubolts, how do you attach the axel to springs using straight bolts? Your pic shows a lift and ubolt.

the bolts replace the "u" bolt

they go through the new shock mounting plate, past the springs, past the riser, past the axel, then into the brake mounting plate

jakes includes them on the 6" Spindle lift for Club Car 84-96 Gas DS

Quote:
This kit only works on gas DS model Club Car golf carts made from 1984 to 1996.
There was a change on the rear shocks of the DS gas models between 1996 to 1997.
The newer shocks have a threaded rod on each end for mounting and will not work with this kit
and they include the extra long grounding strap

10-4. I'm going with a 4" all sport super sport. Sense the brake issue will resolve itself once I lift the cart I will come up with a way to rig it for now. Might not be the safest but I'll stay in the neighborhood for now. I still find it hard to believe that no one has run across this problem.
