2004 CC Precedent Rev limiter
Coming from the rev limiter is a white w/black stripe. Where does this wire go, and can I put a toggle switch inline for the cart to idle?

Re: 2004 CC Precedent Rev limiter
If you are talking about the white w/black stripe wire that runs along the passenger side of the motor, it's a ground lead to "kill" the ignition. If you put the switch along that wire it would prevent the ignition being grounded out when you let off the gas pedal, but also when the key switch is turned off.

Re: 2004 CC Precedent Rev limiter
One more easy question. There's a light wire coming off the limiter. It was cut when I got the cart. But the ground wire with the eyelet is still attached. Do you think the previous owner cut the light wire trying to disable the limiter? What should I do? Reattach the light colored wires together and remove the ground?

Here's a thread that may help... it involves cutting the white w/black wire at the GCOR to make it idle. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...key-start.html |
