Take your time, have a good staple gun and staples. Works best on warm sunny day outside, have a firm spacious table for a work surface. Just my humble opinion.
Thanks this is something I was concerned about.

From the little I have learned about upolstery , there is a big difference in the weights of "marine" vinyl. Just because it says marine, doesn't mean it's heavy and able to stand up to wear and dog claws ect. on our carts. The thicker/heavier it is the harder it is to put on but you don't want to do this too often! Might be good to ask before you buy.

I have covered the seating in my Marathon with vinyl from a fabric store, the seats in my avatar the tan ones, also look in my pic album.

It was hard work stretching and stapling for hours, and I have done quite a bit of boat, motor cycle seats, quad seats and others.

On motorcycle and quad seats it works out ok if you have good tools.
On a boat unless you pay big bucks for custom made its also a good idea.
But on a golf cart, I just got covers for 75.00 it took about a hour with just a staple gun.
It looks way better and I will never try to make my own covers on a cart again

I have had some vinyl last and some is crap you never know what you will get in a fabric store unless you have used it before.

The seat covers i bought seem to be good vinyl.

thanks everyone for your input.
Honestly I'm just going to do what you all suggested and buy the covers.
I will probably go with the easy life covers they seem to be the best deal.

Seaquell
was it difficult to wrap your cart?

Yep. Ordered mine before Christmas, [had an Ebay coupon to use up] and got them in Jan. They accidentally sent pre 2000 covers with the 2 piece back. Called and left a message. They called back on the next day, on a Sunday no less, and apologized, told me to keep them [or sell them] and he would rush me the right ones. He said sorry to call on Sunday, I told him, no thank you for calling, I'm a dairy farmer and we run 7 days a week here too. Had them in 4 days. THAT'S customer service!

Just look up easy life covers on ebay. Find your model and year. They will send you samples as well. I chose Navy,Gray and chili piping as i am doing a Patriots inspired cart
