I had just put the belt on had not started yet. If that makes a difference. I guess I never paid any attention. I did have the rear end jack up once and run the engine and everything seemed to work right.Top end was still the same 17 18 mph

Also in that second picture it looks like (to me at least) that your drive and driven clutches arent aligned very well.
