yamaha gone bad
Bought a used Yamaha s/n JW2-001109. So I think its a Drive G29 model
I bought it from a man and he told me he bought it used not running. He changed batteries AND SOLONOID but would no go. He then noticed the run tow switch was not connected. He connected them to togger and it ran. But ran about 15 min and quit. I have 50v at two main wires on motor when I press petal. But no go. Any suggestions. Thanks |

Re: yamaha gone bad
Take all leads off the motor, and label them as you do. Tape them up so they not touching anything or each other. Then take your digital volt meter (set to lowest Ohm setting), and test all motor terminals. A1 & A2 should show a low reading, like 1.5 ohm. Test F1 & F2 should be close to same. NO reading should be found from any A terminal to any F terminal. You have a 2007 YDRE "drive" G29.
