The other thing I have read regarding the magnet (& the Bandit too I think) is that you lose regen. If that is important to you then Alltrax is the way to go.

Regent is not a huge factor for me, torque and speed are #1.

Sounds like bandit is the way to go, but do you reallly need that $1500. Alltrax, cables, solenoid ?

My buggie couldn't pull itself out of soft sand.
I upgraded to 500 amp Curtis ,4ga cable and HD solenoid.
Now it shoots rooster tails in the sand.
Pulled a neighbor's locked up lawn tractor out of his yard like it wasn't there.
Didn't gain any real speed, but now I don't lose speed on the hills.
On a sepex, aftermarket controllers don't restrict your motor to speed codes,
so you can realize the full potential of your motor.
I'd start with controller, cable and Hd solenoid upgrade, I think that will get you what you want. If not, Plum Quick your motor.

If I do a controller upgrade, I won't look to do a solenoid or cable upgrade.. So I would stick with a Alltrax XCT300. Questions is, will this give me any speed difference... Currently I run 13-14mph. Looking to get 21-25mph.

In answer to a question in another thread, TahoeDawg (David from Revolution Golf Cars) said...

That seems to answer your question too.
