I'd like to see a swap with the Yamaha MX400 engine. It looks like it would be close to all the stock cart engines by design. Curious to know what they put that jewel in. https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/mu...els/2014/mx400

Got the engine tore apart . It dropped the exhaust valve and crack the piston. The head and piston wall look good . I’m just gonna lightly hone up the wall and rebuild it . I got all the parts on the way for around $300 , but that’s everything. I’m not ready to drop a clone in it yet , plus I’m playing and learning. I can’t wait to put it all together and find the next problem on the cart . In the mean time i will be cleaning the frame ,spraying the battery tray and the few other rusty spots. Then , on to painting the whole thing

If it dropped a valve make sure you find the valve retainer keepers you don't want then floating around on your fresg motor
