Yamaha G9 Input Shaft Bearing
I am trying to remove the bearing on my Yamaha G9 input shaft. There is a gear on the shaft that looks like it needs to be removed any ideas on how to remove it? I am replacing all of the bearings.

Re: Yamaha G9 Input Shaft Bearing
I did a Cc trans, the bearings were all pressed on. We used a hand press the kind with a 4ft long handle, it did them all no problem. Usually gears are on there harder, like heat it up and press it off, or it does not press off. I would have to look in the manual, which you can download here.

Re: Yamaha G9 Input Shaft Bearing
Thanks for the reply! I took a gear puller and pulled the bearing right off for replacement.
